Could we see EC3 vs. Moose at Slammiversary?

The self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion defended the belt against Hernandez last night and got the jump on the veteran before the bell could ring. However, it didn’t take long for Hernandez to make a comeback and both men fought outside the ring during the early goings of the match-up.

The men beat each other down with stiff strikes and offense, and Hernandez came close to a victory after connecting with a senton and backbreaker. However, Moose connected with a low blow as Hernandez tried to counter and the self-proclaimed champion played it off like his leg was hurt. The 36-year-old would then hit the lights out (spear) for the win.

However, the big news following the match stems from EC3’s music playing instead of Moose’s entrance theme. Last week, the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion fueled rumors of making his return even further by playing up that he was the man in the advertisement, and the company confirmed that a former world champion will indeed make his return at Slammiversary next month.

With EC3 being a former two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, will the recently released WWE superstar put Moose in his place on July 18?
