Unfortunately, "The Unbreakable" Michael Elgin couldn't handle the "The Machine" Brian Cage at Slammiversary.

The two big men had a very good championship match that strongly highlighted both men’s athleticism, with “The Machine” pulling out moves such as a springboard DDT and the 619; Elgin was no slouch himself, connecting with a Canadian destroyer to counter an F5 attempt and a getting out of the Drill Claw finisher with a sunset bomb.

In the end, Cage was able to win by countering the Elgin bomb into a pin and got the three count. As you can imagine, “The Unbreakable” wasn’t thrilled with the loss and attacked both “The Machine” and Don Callis. However, former WWE superstar Rhino made the save to Callis by spearing Elgin. The former WWE Superstar was in disguise as he had a mask on, but it was instantly clear that it was Rhino under the gear.
