Impact is starting off their debut on AXS TV in a big way.
The promotion has confirmed that Brian Cage will once again defend the Impact World title against Sami Callihan in a Steel Cage match. The championship bout will come nearly two weeks after their No Disqualification match at Bound For Glory. The fight between the top stars was a violent affair due to the heated build-up the title match had going in.
It was expected for Callihan to win the Impact World Title for the first time in his career at BFG; however, Cage shocked the world by retaining the prestigious belt thanks to a Drill Claw onto a pile of thumb tacks. While this could just be a match set to bring eyes to the product, it is possible for “The Draw” to win the Impact World title from “The Machine”.
We’ll find out on the October 29th episode of Impact Wrestling, which will also feature appearances from Ken Shamrock, X-Division Champion Ace Austin, Eddie Edwards and many more.
