As many expected they would, quite a few of the former WWE Superstars that were released on "Black Wednesday" have begun to find their way to Impact Wrestling.
We've already seen Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, aka The Good Brothers, Heath Ledger (who's "Just Heath" now), and Eric Young debut at Slammiversary, and last night on Impact, both EC3 and Brian Myers/Curt Hawkins made their presences felt. The former actually appeared on the show to attack Moose, but Myers was the focus of a vignette hyping his imminent debut.
Myers has wrestled for Impact in the past, and was one half of the World Tag-Team Champions along with Trevor Lee (NXT's Cameron Grimes) back in 2015. How he'll be utilized now remains to be seen, but we'll assume he won't be given another historic losing streak gimmick!
What do you guys make of this surge of former WWE talent finding new homes on Impact Wrestling? Does it weaken the brand, or are you pleased to see so many underutilized wrestlers get more of an opportunity to ply their trade?
