IMPACT Wrestling's biggest PPV, Bound For Glory, took place this past weekend. We didn't get any major surprise debuts, but THe IInspiration (known as The IIconics in WWE) walked out with the Knockouts Tag Team Championships after defeating Decay (Havok and Rosemary).
Becoming champions during their first match for the company is quite an achievement, and we're certainly hoping they're booked better in IMPACT than they ever were in WWE.
The future is looking bright for Jessica McKay (Billie Kay) and Cassie Lee's (Peyton Royce), and the former revealed where their new tag team name came from during a recent interview.
"We were just spitballing one day. I’m pretty sure Cassie came up with it. She was like, ‘Look. Hear me out,' and she said it, and I loved that," she explained. "When we made that decision, it’s funny because the amount of times we say the word inspire, or inspiration, to each other, I notice it now and it’s all the time. It’s just crazy that we have never really thought about that."
