Tonight’s Impact Wrestling will see a huge update on the world champion Brian Cage. “The Machine” suffered an injury that’s prevented him from competing inside the ring since Rebellion; however, with Michael Elgin being the new contender for the Impact World title, his future on being the top champion will finally be addressed.
Coming off a fantastic match-up against Gail Kim at Rebellion, Blanchard has had to deal with the returning Glenn Gilbertti. The former Impact Knockouts champion will finally get her chance to kick Disco Inferno’s ass, as Blanchard and Gilbertti will go one-on-one.
After Rob Van Dam scored a victory over Tommy Dreamer, The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander) and Moose stormed the ring and attacked the ECW legends; however, Sabu made his return to Impact and the ECW legends were able to fight off The North and Moose. Sabu, Tommy Dreamer & Rob Van Dam will fight The North and Moose in a Six-Man Tag Team match.
Eddie Edwards will look to get his revenge against a man who’s gotten the best of him at every turn, Killer Kross. Will the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion finally get retribution for Kross’ actions? Or will Killer Kross put an end to Eddie Edwards for good?
Last, but not least, former world champion Johnny Impact will team with Michael Elgin to take on Rich Swann & Willie Mack. Impact surprised many when he aided the Impact World title contender two weeks ago and now, Elgin & Impact will team together for the first time in the company.
