After months of intense build-up, Slammiversary is finally here to settle rivalries and make memorable moments.
In the main event, Impact World Champion Brian Cage will finally step into the ring against “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin. The former ROH World Champion shocked the world when he showed up at Rebellion and made an immediate statement by taking out the newly crowned World Champion.
“Unbreakable” has been a dominant force in Impact since “The Machine” has been away, but with the two finally colliding in the ring tonight, will Cage put an end to Elgin’s journey to the top?
In a first-time ever match-up, Taya Valkyrie will defend her championship in a Monster’s Ball match against Rosemary, Su Yung, and Havok. This will indeed be a violent bout between the four women; however, will Valkyrie be able to escape Slammiversary still as champion?
Johnny Impact looks to reclaim gold tonight, as he’ll be challenging Rich Swann for the X-Division championship, and in an intergender affair, Tessa Blanchard will step up to fight “The Draw” Sami Callihan. The Ohio vs. Everything leader has focused all his hate on the knockouts division lately, can the former Knockouts Champion put an end to Sami Callihan’s madness?
All this and more will happen tonight at Slammiversary. Check out the cold open above and the advertised matches below:
