Deonna Purrazzo failed to win back the Impact Knockouts Championship.

At Bound For Glory, the 26-year-old was expecting to fight Kylie Rae for the belt; however, Purrazzo ended up facing a returning Su Yung, who soundly became a two-time champion that night. Following her big championship loss, Purrazzo wanted to sue the company over the return of Yung at BFG, but Scott D’Amore granted Purrazzo a rematch on this week’s episode of Impact.

It didn’t take long for Yung to gain control of the bout as the Knockouts Champion had Purrazzo in a mandible claw. Kimber Lee slid in a steel chair to aid her partner; however, Yung released the submission hold and managed to grab the weapon first. Purrazzo recovered and the two fought over the steel chair, with the Yung winning the battle and clocking Purrazzo with the weapon. The match-up ended up resulting in a disqualification.

Later on, Scott D’Amore confirmed that Purrazzo and Su Yung will meet once again at Turning Point on November 14. The two knockouts will fight in a No Disqualification match for the prestigious championship.
