EC3 has arrived!

Last night, the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion started off Impact Wrestling with a promo that highlighted his new persona. The returning star said he would fight against the tyrants who are out there to humiliate or cancel you, and promised that he will control his own narrative going forward.

Fast forward to later in the night, Moose comes off another successful TNA World Heavyweight title defense as the self-proclaimed champion beat Fallah Bahh in quick fashion thanks to his signature spear. Following the match-up, Moose got onto the mic and called himself “Mr. Impact Wrestling”.

From behind, EC3 attacked the 36-year-old and ultimately left the Impact star lying thanks to a reverse DDT (akin to the Scorpion Death Drop). The narrative regarding EC3 appears to be that the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion doesn’t work for Impact Wrestling (even though the company has been advertising the hell out of his return).

During the build to Slammiversary, EC3 was heavily teased as Moose’s next challenger for the TNA World Heavyweight Champion until officials decided to go with Tommy Dreamer. Will the saga of the self-proclaimed champion finally come to an end, or is Moose merely just a distraction in a larger scheme in EC3’s plan?
