Five Championships will be on the line tonight.
In the main event, former X-Division Champion Moose will challenge Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship. Moose is no stranger to being a TNA World Champion; In fact, he’s won it twice throughout his career. However, there’s several factors that could prevent the TNA star from walking out victorious.
The first is Trick’s association with AJ Francis and Rich Swann. These two have played a factor in previous title matches and that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon. The other is Trick’s status with DarkState. The NXT faction has been running roughshod through the NXT and TNA locker room and many feel that Williams is the puppet pulling the strings backstage.
Will Moose be able to overcome the odds and win the TNA World title for the third time in his career? Or will Trick add Moose’s name to his growing resume of challengers?
For the X-Division Championship, Leon Slater is scheduled to defend his title against Cedric Alexander. Now these two have a great respect for one another, but it’s not going to stop them from pulling out the stops to secure the win.
Cedric goes in with a huge advantage thanks to his experience. The former WWE star has won titles in every promotion that he’s stepped foot in. But that doesn’t mean Slater should be counted out. The X-Division Champion beat a former world champion to capture the prestigious belt, so Leon will surely come in with a game plan to get the better of Cedric Alexander.
For the TNA Knockouts Tag Team titles, The Elegance Brand has to deal with three teams trying to take their belts away from them. Now Ash and Heather had to deal with this crisis at Sacrifice and they managed to retain their titles then. However, this doesn’t guarantee that they’ll walk out the winners, especially when there’s different teams challenging for the belts. Could this be the final time we see Ash and Heather as the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions?
