Former IMPACT World Champion Eli Drake Announces That He's A Free Agent

It’s official, former World Champion Eli Drake is done with Impact Wrestling.

Back in April, Impact released a statement about ending their relationship with the former Impact World Champion; According to several sources, the reasons behind Drake’s termination stemmed from management not being happy with the way Drake handled his planned intergender match-up against Tessa Blanchard.

The straw that broke the camels back was that officials believed that Drake was talking negatively about the Impact product, thus resulting in his firing from the company. The former Impact World Champion’s contract was originally set to expire on May 31st . Drake released a statement on being a free agent and thanked Impact for giving him an opportunity to display his talent  for the past four years. Check it out below:
