Will EC3 end up in Impact Wrestling?
Last week, the recently released WWE superstar was a part of the promotional package for Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary event alongside Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows, Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis, Drake Maverick, Eric Young, and Rusev.
In response to the video, the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion further teased showing up at the pay-per-view on Saturday, July 18th by revealing himself as the man seated in the Impact teaser video:
At the moment, there’s no word on who will actually make their return to Impact Wrestling next month, though Drake Maverick can be easily ruled out as a possiblity. EC3 originally made his debut as Dixie’s nephew, Ethan Carter III, back in 2013.
Since arriving in TNA/Impact Wrestling, the 37-year-old was treated as a main event talent throughout his five-year stint with the company and won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship on two occasions. The former WWE superstar has been posting weekly videos teasing a big comeback to wrestling and even hinted at signing with All Elite Wrestling shortly after his release.
