Last night, former WWE Tag Team Champion Rhyno made his re-debut in Impact by spearing Michael Elgin – who was attacking Don Callis - while under disguise in all black.

The ECW legend confirmed months back that his contract was set to expire with WWE in the middle of July, noting that he opted to turn down the company’s lucrative offer due to wanting to be able to wrestle more. This isn’t Rhyno’s first stint with TNA/Impact as he’s previously been with the company back in 2005-2010 and a brief stint back in 2014.

Rhyno is a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion. He won the belt in his rookie year of the then named TNA, defeating Jeff Jarrett. The ECW legend wouldn’t keep the belt for long, as Jarrett would win the championship back less than a month later.
