Bound For Glory should’ve been a memorable moment for Johnny Impact, but the buzz coming out of the show continues to be about Austin Aries no selling starship pain, talking trash to someone in the balcony of the Melrose Ballroom, assumed to be Impact executive Don Callis. He then flipped off Impact, the fans and cameras before walking out, leaving everyone at ringside looking confused.

According to Bryan Alvarez on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Aries immediately went home after the huge pay-per-view and reportedly will not attend the New York tapings for Impact Wrestling.

Impact star and backstage producer Petey Williams stated on his podcast Monday that Sunday’s title match was actually the final appearance on Aries’ contract with the promotion. Many are still in the dark as to whether what Aries did was a work or shoot, but there’s no denying that this is creating buzz for the company.
