For nearly a year, Tessa Blanchard fought an uphill battle just to get her chance at the Impact World Championship.
Back at Slammiversary 2019, the third-generation star was a part of history when she became the first woman to main event the Impact Wrestling/TNA pay-per-view. Unfortunately, the former Knockouts Champion would end up suffering defeat at the hands of Sami Callihan; however, Blanchard proved that she could hang with the big boys inside the squared circle.
Blanchard would continue fighting until she earned her title match at Hard To Kill, and after failing to defeat “The Draw” two consecutive times, the 24-year-old eventually pinned Sami Callihan and won the Impact World title.
