Impact Wrestling has Tweeted that the “Bone Soldier” Taiji Ishimori will be returning at Slammiversary.

Ishimori made his debut for the company back in 2017 at Slammiversary XV; teaming with Noah wrestler Naomichi Marufuji, and taking part in a four-way tag team match for both the GFW Tag Team Championship and the Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championship.

In November, he would capture the X Division title when he defeated Trevor Lee. He dropped the title to Matt Sydal back in January. Ishimori left Impact back in March.
