Last night at Slammiversary, Impact Wrestling confirmed that this year’s Bound For Glory will take place on Sunday, October 20th.

The venue wasn't officially revealed, but Impact has a show listed on the event schedule for The Odeum in Villa Park, Illinois on that date. There’s no word on what the plans will be going into this year’s historic event. The current crop of champions are Brian Cage (Impact World), Rich Swann (X-Division), Taya Valkyrie (Knockouts), and The North (Impact World Tag Team).

If Impact books Bound For Glory as well as Slammiversary and their other pay-per-view events this year, then the fans will surely be in for a treat. However, let’s hope another controversial moment like Austin Aries no selling and flipping off everyone after the match doesn’t overshadow the efforts of the talent involved.
