As previously confirmed, Impact Wrestling will hold a two-night special for Rebellion, which was originally scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 19th.
The first night will officially air next week, and the promotion has confirmed the full line-up for the show. This past Tuesday, officials revealed that Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock will finally collide in the main event.
The rivalry between the two Impact stars has been a very personal one since the former Impact World Champion violently assaulted the 56-year-old several weeks ago. With the latest development that took place last night, it should be interesting to see if Callihan’s new cult comes into play.
In the only championship match of the evening, Ace Austin will defend the X-Division title against Willie Mack. The 23-year-old has managed to remain on top of the X-Division since capturing the belt back at Bound For Glory; Will Ace Austin be able to fend off another challenger who’s trying to knock him off the top spot?
