Kenny Omega will make his first appearance as AEW World Champion on Impact Wrestling.
Last week’s main event on AEW Dynamite saw a controversial ending to the title match between Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley, with the 37-year-old beating the now former world champion thanks to an assist from Don Callis.
Following the championship match, both Omega and Callis ran out of the building, but not before the Executive Vice President dropped a bombshell as Callis confirmed that the new AEW World Champion will speak on Impact.
This will be the first time that Omega steps into a TNA/Impact Wrestling ring. It was reported following Omega’s departure from New Japan Pro-Wrestling that the veteran came close to signing a deal with the company before All Elite Wrestling existed, though Omega has never confirmed the reports.
IMPACT Wrestling airs on AXS TV on Tuesday at 8 pm EST, with a simultaneous live stream on Twitch.
