It was revealed Monday night by Impact Hall of Famer Gail Kim that she underwent surgery this past Sunday for appendicitis.

According to the former WWE women’s champion, the surgery was a success and she was released from the hospital on Tuesday morning. Kim believed originally that she was suffering from food poisoning but her husband, Chef Robert Irvine, encouraged her to go to the hospital.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Everything went as well as can be! Amazing doctor and hospital staff..... I’ll prob be home tomorrow for recovery
