Back at Bash at the Brewery, The North shocked the wrestling community by defeating LAX to capture the Impact World Tag Team Championships.
Several days later at Slammiversary, the duo retained their titles in a triple threat bout involving The Rascalz and former champs LAX. During the match-up, Josh Alexander was the man to put Santana out of action.
With Santana on the sidelines, Daga & Ortiz will face the North for the Impact World Tag Team titles on this week’s episode and it appears that emotions got the best of Ortiz, who tried to attack the tag team champions after their successful title defense.
