As The IIconics in WWE, Billie Kay (Jessica McKay) and Peyton Royce (Cassie Lee) never really got a fair shake on the main roster. With the company giving such little attention to the Women's Tag Team Championships, their reign faded into the background, and when both women were released, it didn't exactly come as a shock to fans.

McKay and Lee didn't hang around, though, and after taking some independent bookings, they signed with IMPACT Wrestling and quickly became the Knockouts Tag Team Champions.

A successful run with the titles followed, but both IMPACT and McKay and Lee have now issued a joint statement confirming their departure from the company and pro wrestling as a whole.

"We first want to thank Scott D’Amore and the entire IMPACT family," The IInspiration said in the statement. "We have had such an amazing experience, working with the incredible IMPACT staff and roster. We will cherish these IMPACT memories forever. We are excited to start a new chapter in our lives and explore other opportunities that may come our way."

"The IInspiration have been a great part of IMPACT’s Knockouts roster and wonderful to work with," added IMPACT Executive Vice-President Scott D’Amore. "Cassie and Jessie are incredibly talented performers. Everyone at IMPACT wishes them every success in the future."

It's a shame to see them go, but as the photos below suggest, respective careers as influencers and models appears to be a priority moving forward. Something tells us they'll find great success...
