Could Joey Ryan be making his way back to Impact Wrestling?

It appears that way according to PWInsider, who reports that the top independent star had filmed some pre-tapes for Impact Wrestling. There’s no word on when Ryan could re-debut, but this would be a big get for Impact should Ryan become a regular with the company.

Ryan had a previous stint with Impact back in 2012, making his debut during the now-defunct Gut Check challenge and having a short tag team with Matt Morgan. The company would release Ryan in July 2013.

However, the California native made his return to the company back in April during WrestleMania weekend, as Ryan faced off against Tessa Blanchard in a singles match-up. The controversial wrestler would ultimately lose to the former Knockouts Champion.
