Jordynne Grace will finally get her chance at revenge.
Last month, former Impact World and Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard made her shocking return to the promotion. She attacked Jordynne Grace following her match against Rosemary, that ignited a feud that has only gotten worse since the second-generation’s return at Final Resolution.
Grace didn’t mince her words when speaking about Blanchard following the assault:
“I’ve known for awhile that Tessa was ignorant. But what I didn’t realize is that she’s actually a complete idiot. Coming back after all this time after abandoning this company to try and make a statement using me of all people. Tessa, a lot has changed since you’ve been gone. And you’re going to realize very quickly that you’ve made a huge [frick]ing mistake.”
And Grace may prove that Tessa made a huge mistake on January 19th as it’s been confirmed that these two will finally go one-on-one. Their segment on TNA last Thursday was another explosive moment that forced security to interfere because the fight between Grace and Blanchard was getting out of hand.
But no one will be able to stop these girls on January 19th. This will be Tessa’s first match in TNA since March 7, 2020, where she lost a World Tag Team Title match with Eddie Edwards to The North (Josh Alexander & Ethan Page).
Jordynne Grace hasn’t had the best luck in singles matches lately. In fact, the 28-year-old hasn’t won a singles bout since she dropped the knockouts title at Bound For Glory. Will Grace change her luck by getting a huge victory over a former World and Knockout Champion? We’ll find out at Genesis!
