Ken Shamrock made his return last night on Impact Wrestling.
The 2020 Hall of Fame Inductee lost his opportunity to challenge for the Impact World Championship thanks to a vicious assault from Michael Elgin. It appears that the former ROH World Champion has nothing but enemies at this point because Sami Callihan was the reason that Elgin failed to beat Trey Miguel in the semi-finals last week.
Last night, Michael Elgin claimed that he was the rightful Impact World Champion and eventually called out Callihan because of last week’s distraction. Instead, Ken Shamrock made his return and went after Michael Elgin immediately. Elgin got the upper hand at first; however, Shamrock used his submission skills to get the best of the 33-year-old.
Elgin escaped Shamrock’s submission maneuver, but made it very clear that the rivalry between the two of them was not over. With Slammiversary taking place on Saturday, July 18, will Michael Elgin fight Ken Shamrock at the pay-per-view event? And will Sami Callihan play a factor into this feud?
