Kongo Kong is done with Impact Wrestling.

The 39-year-old hasn’t been on television for the promotion this year, thus Kong being gone from Impact isn’t much of a surprise. The former Impact star made his debut with the company back in 2015 under the Global Force Wrestling banner. He returned in 2017 to have a brief feud with Johnny Impact and was paired with Impact writer Jimmy Jacobs later on. Kong’s release from the company is confirmed as his Twitter bio reads, “Former Impact Star and Current Free Agent”.

The former Impact star has been in the wrestling business since 1998 and continues to wrestle on the independent scene as his most recent match was back on May 30th, where he defeated Manny Fernandez for the IWA Mid-South promotion.
