The Impact newcomer continues to shine bright within the promotion.
It’s been nearly a month since the former AEW star had signed a long-term deal with Impact Wrestling and the 27-year-old is making the most out of her time in the promotion. At last night’s Rebellion special, Rae defeated her toughest opponent to date, Kiera Hogan.
Hogan is no rookie when it comes to the squared circle as the 25-year-old has been stepping her game up within the last year. While Hogan has yet to capture the Impact Knockouts title within the company, the performer has managed to win gold elsewhere, as Hogan and former Impact star Diamante became the first-ever WOW (Women of Wrestling) Tag Team Champions recently.
As expected, the ladies put on a strong showcase with Hogan coming close to winning after a sweet super kick; however, Rae ultimately fought back and locked in her STF finisher for the win. It should be interesting to see where Rae will go from here. Impact has a strong collection of female talent such as Taya Valkyrie, Tenille Dashwood, Rosemary, and Jordynne Grace (Impact knockouts Champion), so her next feud should be exciting.
