The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion couldn't take down the monster.
Last week, as Eddie Edwards was waiting to deliver the final blow to Ace Austin in their street fight, Madman Fulton popped out of nowhere and attacked the veteran, revealing his new alliance with the former X-Division Champion.
Austin briefly explained his partnership with Fulton earlier in the night putting over the monster as his heavy. The interview was cut short, so Fulton never gave his reasoning for aligning himself with the young X-Division star.
In the main event, Fulton fought Edwards and the former OVE member manhandled the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Edwards got in several hope spots including a Tiger Driver that almost resulted in a three count. However, Madman Fulton caught Edwards as he was attempting the Boston Knee Party and connected with a variation of the End of Days. He pinned Eddie for the three count.
This is the first win (and biggest) for Madman Fulton since January 18, 2020. With the dangerous big man finally back on track, does this mean that Ace Austin is walking out of Slammiversary the new Impact World Champion thanks to Fulton?
