“The Machine” Brian Cage is your new X Division champion!
Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary was a night filled with exciting action, drama, and storytelling with a few surprises along the way.
On March 8, Sydal won the X Division title and had a decent run with great matches against the likes of Petey Williams, Dezmond Xavier, Taiji Ishimori.
However tonight, Sydal wasn’t able to defeat “The Machine” in a rematch (in which Sydal won the first encounter by DQ) and now Brian Cage is the new X Division champion. This is the first title Cage has captured since arriving in Impact Wrestling earlier this year.
