At Slammiversary, “The Machine” Brian Cage was able to successfully capture the X-Division title after a great back and forth match against Matt Sydal.
This Thursday night on Impact television, Sydal is invoking his rematch clause to regain what was once his.
Also announced for this week’s show is the TV return of Johnny Impact, who worked his first match back in several months at Slammiversary, defeating Taiji Ishimori, Fenix and Petey Williams in an international Fatal 4-Way match.
Both segments will be filmed as a part of Impact’s two-day television taping event at the Rebel Complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
