Ace Austin and Michael Elgin advanced into the semi-finals!

The former X-Division Champion made use of being a last-minute replacement by taking it to Rhino. The former ECW World Champion controlled the early portion of the match by brawling with the 23-year-old around the arena; however, Austin bounced back with various aerial maneuvers.

Rhino almost came close to winning after a big superplex that knocked the wind out of Austin, but the cunning X-Division star nailed Rhino with his staff (behind the referee’s back) and connected with The Fold to get the three count within 11 minutes.

In the main event, former Impact World Champion Sami Callihan fought Michael Elgin and the two big men didn’t waste any time in beating the crap out of one another. Elgin worked on Callihan’s leg throughout the contest and came close to a submission win thanks to a half Boston Crab.

During the tail end of the match, Callihan and Elgin traded strikes and big moves, but the former ROH World Champion clobbered Callihan hard with a backfirst and got the victory following his signature powerbomb.

In the semi-finals, Ace Austin will take on Shawn Hernandez and Michael Elgin will fight Trey Miguel. In an interesting clash of styles, who will advance into the final round? We’ll find out soon!
