Naomichi Marufuji showcased why many consider him a legend in the wrestling business.

Known mostly for his time in Pro Wrestling Noah, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and Ring of Honor, fans clamored over seeing the former GHC Heavyweight Champion take on the former ROH World Champion. Both Elgin and Marufuji had a very fast paced back-and-forth match-up that highlighted Elgin's high flying ability.

There were several exciting sequences such as Elgin hitting a huge clothesline, Buckle Bomb, and Elgin Bomb that only got a near fall. Despite the resiliency of Marufuji, it just wasn’t meant to be for the 40-year-old, as Elgin put him away with a big backfist and a reverse Powerslam.
