Moose is still the self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
Last night, Trey Miguel stepped up to take on the 36-year-old and came short of defeating Moose. Not surprisingly, this match-up was about power vs. speed, with Moose getting the advantage early thanks to his strength.
As Moose beat down Miguel, the cocky Impact star berated The Rascalz member; Miguel had small bursts of comebacks throughout the middle portion of the match-up; however, Moose’s power always halted his momentum.
Trey made a fiery comeback with various kicks and forearms and also got the win after a devastating DDT. In the end though, Moose connected with his signature spear maneuver that got him the three count. However, Moose didn’t get a chance to celebrate as EC3 attacked him from behind and took the TNA World Heavyweight Championship with him.
For the past several weeks, Impact has been building up for an eventual match between Moose and EC3, and the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion may ultimately be the man to take down the self-proclaimed world champ.
