Suicide will finally get his chance to take on Moose.
When the former X-Division Champion made his return to Impact Wrestling back in March, Suicide stopped a vicious attack from Moose. Lately, the Impact Wrestling star declared war on the promotion due to the lack of opportunities given to him over the last year. Moose took his anger out on various talents of the company’s past such as Petey Williams, Kid Kash, Jay Bradley, and Chase Stevens; however, the 35-year-old never had a chance to get retribution for Suicide’s beatdown.
In a Triple Threat match with Hernandez and Michael Elgin last week, Moose connected with a spear on Hernandez and got a three count, thus making him the rightful TNA World Heavyweight Champion, according to Moose. Even though Tessa Blanchard is still acknowledged as the Impact World Champion, Moose addressed the situation by proclaiming to have the top title within the promotion.
The self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion will put his title on the line against Suicide next week. The former X-Division Champion gained some steam heading into the title match last night by getting a win over Johnny Swinger.
