Nic Nemeth returns to TNA.
The 44-year-old was on top of the world heading into Genesis on January 19th, but Nemeth just couldn’t get the job done that night. For the first time in six months, Nemeth walks into a ring without being the top dog of TNA Wrestling. The former TNA World Champion opens the show and talks about his future with the promotion.
Last week, Mustafa Ali made his shocking return by interrupting Mike Santana’s segment and declaring his bid for the TNA World Championship. Now that the former TNA X-Division Champion has his sights set on the biggest prize in the promotion, Ali looks to climb back up into the ranks and his first match against Laredo Kid will be his first test. Will the arrogant Ali start his TNA return off with a bang? Or will Laredo Kid surprise and embarrass the former X-Division Champion?
Sami Callihan is not a happy man. The former Impact World Champion was viciously attacked by TNA newcomer, Mance Warner. With Steph De Lander and her psycho boyfriend targeting Callihan, how will the TNA veteran respond? Callihan and Warner are no strangers to one another as these two had some of the bloodiest matches in Major League Wrestling’s history. Will that level of violence spill over to TNA?
Also, the partnership between TNA and NXT continues as both Wes Lee and Cora Jade will be in action. Lee interfered in The Rascalz NXT Tag Team title match last week, making it clear that their rivalry was far from over.
Cora Jade has been targeting the TNA Knockouts Champion ever since she made her debut in NXT earlier this month. Can Lee and Jade kick off their TNA journey with a big victory?
