The feud between Tessa Blanchard and Sami Callihan is far from over.
This past Tuesday, the new Impact World Champion had a sit-down interview with Josh Matthews, which was interrupted by the former champion, Sami Callihan.
The Impact star is tired of hearing about how Tessa Blanchard has made history within the company, with Callihan pointing out how he was able to re-build the promotion from the ground up. ‘The Draw’ makes it clear that their rivalry is not over as long as he’s still breathing, and he’ll continue to come after the third-generation star until she’s no longer the Impact World Champion.
With the Impact Plus exclusive pay-per-view, Lockdown, coming up, it’s possible that the company is setting the stage for a rematch between the two inside a steel cage; however, that’s just speculation on my part. Check out the chilling promo from Sami Callihan to Tessa Blanchard:
