Hernandez wasn’t the only talent who made their return last night as former WWE superstar Tenille Dashwood came back to have her Bound For Glory rematch against former Impact Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie.
Back on October 20, 2019, the two women had a back-and-forth match-up that saw the Australia native come close to winning the prestigious Impact Knockouts Championship on several occasions; however, the cunning Valkyrie used John E. Bravo to help her retain the belt at the company’s biggest pay-per-view of the year.
At Rebellion, Valkyrie will be challenging Jordynne Grace for the title in a Full Metal Mayhem match; however, the 36-year-old had to go through an old foe who was looking to avenge a previous loss, and despite the best efforts of the Canada native, Dashwood was able to pull out the victory thanks to a roll-up.
While the former WWE superstar got some retribution, Valkyrie would make sure to be the last woman standing as she violently attacked Dashwood once the three-count hit. To send a clear message to Grace, Valkyrie beat down Dashwood with various weapons; however, the reigning Knockouts Champion came out and stopped Valkyrie’s brutal assault. The two female competitors will finally clash on night two of the Rebellion special.
