The North officially have challengers at Slammiversary.
Last night, the Impact World Tag Team Champions cut a promo trashing Ken Shamrock and believed that the veteran had no friends to challenge for their belts in the future.
Cue to Ken Shamrock, who was fired up after the vicious assault from the duo last week. However, Shamrock wasn’t alone as his former foe, Sami Callihan, made his return by aligning with the 2020 Hall of Fame inductee. Callihan and Shamrock managed to beat down the tag team champions before Alexander and Page retreated backstage.
Following their intense rivalry heading into Rebellion, Callihan and Shamrock seemed to gain respect for one another, which was another sign of a babyface turn for the former Impact World Champion. With both former world champions fighting alongside one another on July 18, will we finally have new Impact World Tag Team Champions? We’ll find out at Slammiversary!
