The Rascalz will get one more shot at the Impact World Tag Team titles.
Last night, Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz fought former X-Division Champion TJ Perkins and Fallah Bahh for another opportunity to face The North (Josh Alexander and Ethan Page) for the prestigious belts.
The match-up was a fast-paced back-and-forth affair with various flips, dives, and hurracanranas from Xavier, Wentz, and Perkins, though Bahh showcased a nice combination of power and speed. Ultimately, Bahh was knocked out of the equation and Wentz & Xavier managed to double team Perkins and the get the three count.
As previously stated, The North and The Rascalz are no strangers to one another. In fact, Alexander and Page beat LAX (Santana & Ortiz) and Wentz & Xavier for the tag belts at last year’s Slammiversary following the duo's shocking title win over the former at Bash at the Brewery.
Since then, The North has fought The Rascalz three more times (twice with Trey Miguel and once with Dezmond Xavier) and the champs managed to escape with the belts successfully each time. Alexander and Page are still going strong at 334 days, with their most recent victory being over Cody Deaner and Wheels. Will The Rascalz finally beat the sly champions in their latest opportunity?
