Could we see new TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions on Thursday?
TNA Wrestling just confirmed that Ash and Heather by Elegance will get another shot at the prestigious belts. Originally, the duo challenged Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) for the tag titles at Genesis, but the duo successfully retained their belts. The TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champs have granted them a second opportunity, but with a twist - the losers become their personal concierge.
Spitfire has held those belts for over 165 days. Luna and Threat overcame Carlee Bright & Kendal Grey, former TNA Knockouts Champion Rosemary and Wendy Coo, and as previously mentioned, Ash and Heather. These girls are currently on fire in TNA as the champions hasn't lost a tag team match since July 2024. Will that change on February 27th?
The TNA Knockouts Tag Team title match joins a stacked card that features the debut of NXT Champion Oba Femi, who will team with the Hardy Boys to take on The System. The X-Division Champion is scheduled to challenge Femi for the NXT title at Roadblock, so this is a good way for Moose to gain some steam heading into their big clash on March 11th.
Former Import World Champion Tessa Blanchard refused to compete last week, but Santino Marella gave her an ultimatum: fight this week or lose your job.
Tessa Blanchard will finally step into the ring after refusing to do so since Genesis. At this moment, there’s not a confirmed opponent for the third generation star.
Check out the advertised card for this week’s TNA Impact!
