It looks like we’re building towards a three-way at Bound For Glory.

Last night, former X-Division Champions collided as TJP and Chris Bey finally had their one-on-one match-up. Originally, the two men were set to fight at Emergence; however, then X-Division Champion Chris Bey added Rohit Raju to the title match to help him retain his belt, which ultimately back fired.

Speaking of the X-Division champion, Raju came down early in the match and cheered Bey despite screwing him over in the triple threat match a few weeks ago. The bout was a 50/50 affair that didn’t see either man get control of the contest for a long period of time.

Bey got a strong nearfall following a reverse torture rack/TKO combo, but TJP got the surprise victory thanks to a roll up. Even though the 36-year-old has gotten several title opportunities since his Impact return in 2019, TJP has not won a belt in the company since 2013 as Manik.

In regards to Bey, Impact is using the rematch clause to keep him into the title picture for now. While the direction could change in the next couple of weeks, we could end up seeing a rematch between these three men at the biggest show of the year for Impact.
