The rivalry between Trey Miguel and Ace Austin has escalated even further.

On last night’s episode of Impact Wrestling, the two challengers collided before their big Impact World Championship match at Salmmiversary this Saturday. The feud goes even deeper than just the title they’ll be fighting at the pay-per-view, as the former X-Division star has continuously disrespected and beaten Miguel since the start of their rivalry back in January.

Back during the Impact World Championship tournament in May, the cunning 23-year-old has been accused of assaulting Miguel before their encounter in the finals, with the 25-year-old effectively being taken out of the competition due to the vicious attack.

Earlier this month, Miguel showed a darker and more aggressive side by destroying both Austin and his new heavy, Madman Fulton, with a steel chair. The Rascalz member wanted to finish what he started as Miguel and a friend went to Austin’s gym and assaulted the former X-Division Champion.

With Madman Fulton distracted, both competitors fought throughout the training facility and Miguel stood tall in the end. Will Trey Miguel stand tall with the Impact World Championship around his waist on Saturday? We’ll find out at Slammiversary!
