The issues between Ace Austin and Trey Miguel are well documented.

Ever since the two feuded for the X-Division Championship earlier this year, the cunning 23-year-old has managed to do everything in his power to beat Miguel and thus far, Austin’s tactics have worked. However, The Rascalz member stood tall last night following his match-up against Austin’s new heavy, Madman Fulton.

Miguel tried to use his speed and aerial moveset to get the better of the big man; however, Fulton used his size and strength to his advantage. The match-up eventually broke down to Trey using his strikes to get the better of Fulton, though the 30-year-old’s weight difference made it harder for Miguel to take him down.

Tired of Austin and Fulton’s BS, the 25-year-old grabbed the former X-Division Champion’s favorite weapon and hit Fulton with it, causing the disqualification. Trey then beat the hell out of Austin and Fulton with a steel chair, displaying a more aggressive side than we’re seen from him thus far.

Going in, Austin has some serious momentum on his side; however, Miguel is showcasing why he could be the dark horse of the four-way elimination match. Will Trey Miguel become the Impact World Champion at Slammiversary?
