Chris Jericho is a top star in All Elite Wrestling these days, but he still has plenty to say about what's going on in WWE. Recently, the company made a number of shocking cuts, getting rid of talented wrestlers like Rusev, Zack Ryder, and Sarah Logan (even Kurt Angle was fired). The question is, will any of them ultimately find their way to All Elite Wrestling?
Well, during a recent interview with TV Insider, Jericho was asked exactly that, and while he admitted to being unsure who is on AEW's radar, he's confident that those wrestlers will land on their feet when all is said and done.
"It’s an interesting time right now because a lot of guys got released. By proxy, you went from a business that was very profitable in many different levels to everything grinding to a halt. Hopefully, many of them will get picked up by different companies," Jericho said.
"Some guys may have to go overseas. I don’t know what AEW has planned. That’s not really my wheelhouse. But I’m sure everybody is going to land where they should land. It’s just how it goes."
While AEW has made it clear they don't want to follow TNA's bad example by becoming WWE-lite, the promotion would arguably be foolish not to take advantage by some of those released names, especially as they could bring a lot of WWE fans to Dynamite each week.
