Asuka Wrestled In A Dark Match Before This Week's Episode Of SMACKDOWN LIVE

Did you forget about Asuka? Following her defeat at the hands of Carmella, we've seen nothing of her on SmackDown Live and it's now been revealed that she actually competed before the show went on the air...

As of right now, it appears as if Asuka won't be part of SummerSlam, a shame considering the fact she was riding high with an undefeated streak leading into WrestleMania. Since then, it appears as if WWE may have lost interest in the Empress of Tomorrow after she lost those Women's Championship matches against Carmella and we've not seen her on SmackDown Live for a while now.

She hasn't completely vanished, though, as it's now been revealed that she competed in a dark match before this Tuesday's episode went on the air. According to fans in attendance, she teamed up with Naomi for a match against Absolution members Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. The babyfaces won the match (as you might expect) and we obviously saw none of them on the show itself.

What do you think the future holds in store for Asuka? Do you think she's getting the treatment she deserves? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
