Austin Aries had a successful run in NXT before moving on to the RAW commentary team and later actively competing on 205 Live but it seems the one WrestleMania match was enough for the Greatest Man Who Ever Lived as it's been confirmed that he's now parted ways with the company.

A reason hasn't been given but an official statement says, "WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Austin Aries. WWE wishes Aries the best in all of his future
endeavors." That's the standard line for when WWE parts way with a talent and we'll probably find out more about why Aries left the company (it was likely his decision based on the wording here) in the coming months.

It's a great shame that Aries is no longer part of WWE as he's undoubtedly one of the best wrestlers in the world. He was never really used as a top star in NXT and 205 Live is pretty much a wasteland that only a handful of fans tune into every week. Are you disappointed that Aries has parted ways with WWE? Stay tuned for where he heads next!
