We haven't seen Drew McIntyre since his loss to CM Punk inside Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood. He made his shocking return to RAW this past Monday, though, attacking Sami Zayn after presumably taking out Jey Uso backstage.

According to PWInsider, while WWE had been working on ideas for the former WWE Champion's return, he wasn't expected to be back right after Survivor Series: WarGames. Instead, he was being lined up to return much later in December, likely coinciding with WWE's annual holiday tour.

Fightful Select has since chimed in to reveal that McIntyre's return was pushed up to this week in response to Bronson Reed's ankle injury at the PLE. Reed has already confirmed on social media that he's wearing a boot on his right foot, though we still don't know the severity of that injury.

If it's a broken ankle, then there's a chance he'll be back in time for the Royal Rumble next February.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez have chimed in to say Reed is awaiting further scans and tests for confirmation, noting that a broken ankle does look likely. There had initially been talk of it being a broken foot, but most seem to agree that it's ankle-related following his Tsunami splash through that table inside WarGames.

As for Jimmy Uso's injury, we're hearing that he only has a broken toe. We're not sure what changes these injuries will make to WWE's creative plans in the weeks ahead, though Friday's SmackDown should offer us an idea after Roman Reigns pinned Solo Sikoa in the WarGames match.

Either way, we don't expect this Bloodline storyline to end anytime soon and the next most likely destination is surely the first one-on-one match between Reigns and Sikoa.

Back to McIntyre, and he quickly addressed his RAW return with a brief video message to fans. "If you don't hear it from me, live on WWE TV, or on my social channels, assume every single thing you hear about Drew McIntyre is B.S.," he said, before ending with, "Oh, and how soon you all forget."

Check that out below and stay tuned for updates as we have them.
