When Bray Wyatt returned to WWE, it wasn't long before he was joined by the mysterious Uncle Howdy. The idea had been to eventually reveal him as Bo Dallas, but plans were derailed when the Eater of Worlds tragically died last August.
Since then, Bo has returned to the company as the leader of The Wyatt Sicks. Fans have embraced the faction but, in an interview with USA Today, the former NXT Champion admitted he initially had some reservations.
"I didn't know if I wanted to continue without my brother, but as this has gone forward, I realize he's with me more than ever," Dallas admitted. "I always loved wrestling, but I thought maybe the passing of my brother might have taken that away from me, but it's been the exact opposite."
"I thrive off that moment where the music hits and I step out and I can feel Windham still with me," he continued. "Everything that's going on up to this date and then going forward, if it's not Windham’s idea, it has a piece of Windham’s idea in it."
Dallas would go on to reveal that each member of The Wyatt Sicks - Erick Rowan, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, and Dexter Lumis - were wrestlers Bray hoped to share the ring with as part of the group he'd set out to form upon his return.
"He wanted to work with them," Dallas confirmed. "He hand picked them for reasons almost unknown to me. Like he just saw something and felt something in them."
"When we were talking and going through all these ideas, a lot of times, he would just say, 'You just be ready, man, you be ready.' Maybe it was a foresight that he was given, I don't know. But it just solidifies this is exactly what I'm supposed to be doing for him, because I know this is what he wants."
"I feel the love from everybody watching this and that is a part of this, because it's not just me, it's everybody," he noted. "Everybody's in on this for Bray. The Wyatt Sicks is just getting started. We got a lot of work to do."
During last night's episode of RAW, The Wyatt Sicks targeted the Final Testament for what promises to be another entertaining feud. WWE has been using the group sparingly and that's benefited them greatly so far.
