Former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal is widely regarded as one of the most versatile and charasmatic wrestlers working today, and grapple-fans have wondered if he'd ever wind up in The WWE for many years now.

During an interview with CultOfWhatever.com, the one-time "Black Machismo" refuted a recent rumor that he had been in contact with the company - however, he definitely seems interested in a WWE run... someday:

“No, I’ve never had any talks with WWE, as far as would I one day like to wrestle for WWE, my love for professional wrestling when I was a young kid was created and developed by my love for the WWF at the time now WWE. I definitely think it would be cool at some point in my career to step foot inside a WWE ring, and I could say I wrestled for the company that helped shape my love for this business. If it happens it happens but it won’t be the end of the world if it doesn’t happen.”

WWE has been amassing a lot of indie talent of late, so there's certainly a good possibility Lethal will at least have a conversation with them eventually. For now, though, he seem happy to ply his trade in Ring of Honor.
