It's been revealed today that Monday night's episode of RAW posted the best number for the show in over three months, something which can probably be pinned on the fact that the company spent pretty much the whole week teasing a huge triple threat match between Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Samoa Joe.
RAW had 3.163 million viewers in total with 3.194 million tuning into hour one, 3.275 million coming back for hour two, and then the usual hour three drop with 3.021 million.
This is definitely a big win for WWE, especially as the show did 3.153 million viewers two weeks ago with a heavily touted main event of Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe and the shocking reveal in regards to that Kurt Angle mystery. It's just a shame this week's instalment was so underwhelming, especially as the actual main event pitted Big Show against Big Cass. Again.
Fans have been confused all week as to why that happened but it's probably because WWE knows the second hour always does well and wanted to showcase that bout with the highest viewing audience possible, especially as it's setting up the trio's match against Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam later this month.
